My wedding is coming so soon!!!
#BDJBox August Box My (official) wedding is coming!* There's a mixture of emotions--- fear, anxiety, but most importantly, excitement. It's one of the most important milestones in a woman's life. A start of a new beginning. I choose to stick it on my wedding album. This will be a great reminder that as I turn into a married woman, it should never stop me from being.... a GIRL with a MIND, a WOMAN with ATTITUDE, and a LADY with CLASS. This will forever remind me that I may be changing my name, but it won't change who I am, and I can still be who I want to become. I'll stick it in me. FOREVER. :) *We had a very private civil wedding less than three months ago, but we will be having our formal wedding soon. :) --------------------------------------------

Us girls would definitely want to receive endless chocolate. It doesn't matter what the occasion is, chocolate will surely change our moods. Chocolate has got to be somewhere on this list:
It started with a sketch...
Yet another month has passed and once again I’m running out of things to give or words to say to my bf. It’s hard to say this without bragging, but we are the type of couple who loves being vocal and sweet toward each other. If only I could invent new words to express how I feel. I never knew language could be so limited. LOL
Asking him what he wants doesn’t help either since when I ask him what he wants, he’d always just tell me “Nothing. Only kiss.” (Talking about a low maintenance boyfriend, huh? Lucky me! :p ) So, since it’s been almost 10 years since the last time I made something poetic, I decided to just pen some poem for him. Nothing fancy. Just a 4-liner. I drew my inspiration from the now-rotten flowers he gave me last month and the watch he surprised me with. (Ooops. Did I just reveal how pampered I am. Lucky me!) Have you been dying to know whether the gift you chose is perfect or not? It’s kinda simple if you ask me. Recently, I’d been thinking of the perfect gift to give my boyfriend. He didn’t want me to give him any. He said there’s no need to buy one. I bet guys feel that when they say such thing, their girlfriends would stop worrying. But for us girls, that wouldn’t help. Sadly, it’d leave us even more confused. So after nonstop begging, he finally told me he would appreciate chocolate. A SMALL one. I didn’t know if he realized how meaningful that clue was. My options started narrowing. Oh, thank goodness! And being the creative person that I claim to be (LOL), I decided to plan for the perfect gift. And here’s what it ended up being. Tadaa! When I said “to plan for the perfect gift,” I meant it! I knew for myself I could never make such with my own hands. It’s difficult to admit, but the most creative thing I contributed was to dictate what to do to the pâtissier. I wanted something memorable and meaningful to both me and my boyfriend. Thanks to the magical hands of the pâtissier, my idea of the perfect gift came to life. Weeeee!!! It’s so perfect that I hesitated giving it to him. Haha. Oh well, he loved it a lot. Success!
So, the next time you get stuck in thinking what’s best to give someone special, then just take a minute to reflect. A gift is perfect if you definitely want it for yourself! I never knew I’d find love. It lies where the pearl met the sun. |
