This is how winter looks like in a garden in Tokyo. I've always associated winter with snow, but sadly they don't always go together. :( Though it was kinda disappointing, the view was still very soothing and calming. I got a chance to find a cherry blossom tree as well---- no leaves of course! Makes me all the more excited to experience how it's like to see one during spring time!!!
This museum is really among my top faves. It only takes around 5-10 minutes walk around Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station. The area isn't too commercialized. It actually sits in the middle of a traditional residential area. I didn't expect I'd stumble upon such an educational (and cool!) museum. It wasn't part of my itinerary at all.
Whenever I travel, I really can't help but notice how dogs (& cats) live in other countries. Here are some of them I found around Tokyo. Enjoy!
Lord knows how much I've been meaning to meet Hachi. Though I never really got the chance to watch Richard Gere's film adaptation, my mom would always talk about it. She's a dog lover but it's kind of an understatement knowing how charitable she has been when it comes to these creatures.
When I finally was able to visit Tokyo, there's no way I'd let the opportunity pass. There's got to be "Shibuya" somewhere in my itinerary! |
